Meet the Team

Join the Americas Global Enterprise Sales team as a Networking Solutions Engineer, where you will collaborate closely with Networking Account Executives, Portfolio Account Teams, Partners, and cross-functional groups. This team is dedicated to driving Cisco Networking brand preference and delivering innovative network solutions that transform businesses and workforce experiences.

Your Impact

As a Networking Solutions Engineer, you will design and deliver next-generation secure networking solutions including routing, switching, wireless, and automation. You will engage with key customer decision-makers, lead RFP responses, set up demonstrations, and drive proof of values tailored to customer needs. This role offers the excitement of working with the latest technologies, conducting multi-architectural Proof-of-Concept tests, and supporting highly complex digital transformation initiatives.

  • Partner with Account Executives to drive business growth and demand generation activities
  • Enable technology capabilities internally and externally with partners
  • Understand customer requirements and map technical solutions accordingly
  • Perform network design, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept labs
  • Maintain competitive knowledge and anticipate customer needs through market and industry trend analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience designing and sizing routing, wireless, and switching deployments across cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LISP) and segmentation technologies (VRF, MPLS, ZeroTrust, SDA, 802.1x, Adaptive Policy)
  • Pre-sales Engineering experience with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently under pressure and lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Cisco and non-Cisco certifications such as CCIE, CCDE, CCNP, DevNet, AWS, Google, Terraform
  • Knowledge of API and programmability
  • Familiarity with competitors' networking products including HPE/Aruba, Juniper, Arista, and Fortinet
  • Willingness to travel approximately 35% of the time
